Just in time for the holidays, Best Buy will offer free next-day delivery on thousands of items, such as tablets, headphones, espresso machines and more. Larger items such as big-screen TVs and refrigerators are excluded.
As many as 99% of customers will be able to receive free next-day delivery,the retailer said. A $35 minimum purchase is required (except for My Best Buy Elite and Elite Plus members) and delivery restrictions apply during the week of Thanksgiving and on Sundays. Individuals who live in areas where the service is not available will still have free standard shipping on all items.
The free next-day delivery service is just the latest way Best Buy is preparing for the holiday season. Best Buy also offers:

- The option to pick up orders within an hour at your local Best Buy store;
- Same-day delivery in 42 U.S. metro cities; and
- Curbside, a service available in select markets which allows customers to pick up their orders without getting out of the car.
This delivery service follows similar announcements made by Amazon and Walmart earlier this year.
