Gap, Giant Eagle and More Deploy Solutions to Streamline Merchandising Processes

Gap

Gap, Giant Eagle and Poundland are among a slate of retailers that have recently implemented the Oracle Retail Merchandising Cloud Service to manage and control their merchandising activities.

Running on the Oracle Cloud infrastructure, the solution provides retailers with a unified foundation from which they can manage the purchasing and distribution of goods, order fulfillment, processing and closing out invoices.

Recent implementations include:

  • Gap, Inc. is now running on a single instance of the Oracle Retail Merchandising Cloud Service in North America for its GAP, Old Navy, Athleta, Banana Republic, Intermix and Hill City brands.
  • Supermarket retailer Giant Eagle is using the Retail Merchandising Cloud Service as well as Oracle’s Retail Store Inventory Operations Cloud Services and Retail Advanced Science Engine to help manage approximately 100,000 products across every store and optimize millions of customer transactions each week.
  • South African fashion value retailer Mr Price Group has implemented the Retail Merchandising Cloud Service to support its omnichannel transformation journey and growth.
  • U.K. value retailer Poundland has deployed the solution to create a single, consolidated foundation for managing merchandise across its three brands: Pep&Co, Poundland and Dealz.
