Longo’s Supermarkets Selects Symphony GOLD To Scale Retail Operations

Canadian grocer Longo’s Supermarkets has licensed the Symphony GOLD unified software platform to enable end-to-end retail operations across vendor management, merchandising, sales, supply chain and customer loyalty.

With the Symphony GOLD platform, Longo’s aims to scale its online and brick-and-mortar growth over the next few years.

“The GOLD Unified Retail Platform will enable Longo’s to focus our retail operations, highlight our key differentiators with ultra-fresh and ready-made offerings and significantly improve customer satisfaction,” said Mike Longo, VP of Transformation at Longo’s. “GOLD also will improve our business efficiency by providing better management of retail enterprise resources and data, reducing operational costs and maximizing our inventory assets.”


Longo’s owns and operates 28 full service grocery stores across the Greater Toronto Area as well as, its grocery delivery service.
