PAVE Awards 2020 Bergmeyer Scholarship

The Planning and Visual Education Partnership (PAVE) has awarded Ielyzaveta Ignatyeva from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) as the 2020 Bergmeyer Scholarship recipient. The scholarship recognizes and supports leadership potential in the Interior Design, Architecture and Graphic Design program through a $1,500 award and an opportunity to take part in an immersive virtual learning experience with designers at Bergmeyer.

“We extend our appreciation to all of the talented design students from colleges and universities across the U.S. who submitted applications to the sixth annual Bergmeyer Scholarship with PAVE,” said Rachel Zsembery, VP at Bergmeyer in a statement. “Bergmeyer would like to recognize Ielyzaveta in particular for thoughtfully integrating interior design, interactive technology and branding cohesively together in her design projects to create memorable and meaningful user experiences.”

The PAVE Scholarship Program, now in its 11th year, provides financial assistance to students in educational programs preparing them for careers in the retail environments industry, including but not limited to careers in retail design, visual merchandising, interior design, architecture and industrial design.
