Recurly, Inc., a subscription management platform, has integrated with cloud-based accounting platform Xero to streamline financial operations and provide customers with a complete view of recurring revenue and transactions.
The integration is designed to automatically synchronize Recurly’s billing and invoice data with Xero, which then performs reconciliation calculations in real time. The integration of billing data with accounting data is designed to help users:
- Provide greater accuracy and more streamlined financial operations;
- Reduce time and resources spent on reconciliations; and
- Increase efficiency and productivity.
“Financial and accounting processes become considerably more complex in a recurring revenue scenario,” said Dan Burkhart, CEO of Recurly in a statement. “Our Xero integration, along with our revenue recognition capabilities, help to eliminate time-consuming and error-prone manual accounting processes, providing finance professionals with more time and energy to devote to strategic responsibilities.”
