High-end jewelry retailer Ylang 23 is expanding its e-Commerce footprint by implementing the Borderfree connector through the MarketLive e-Commerce platform. The integration brings Borderfree’s international e-Commerce services to all MarketLive merchants that upgrade to the latest version of the platform and integrate the plugin.
Ylang 23 generates more than 40% of its revenue from e-Commerce, according to a company statement. The retailer ships to more than 90 countries, and provides free shipping on all international orders totaling $100 or more.
In March 2014, Ylang 23 announced the relaunch of its e-Commerce site on the MarketLive SaaS platform and eventually tapped Borderfree to expand its international business.
The Borderfree plugin is designed to allow MarketLive users to overcome the barriers that come with international e-Commerce, such as displaying local currencies and calculating taxes and duties. This integration reduces implementation costs for joint customers, allowing retailers to sell internationally more seamlessly. In addition, Borderfree and MarketLive have eliminated maintenance costs for the merchants.
