Express, Inc. has appointed Matthew Moellering as the apparel retailer’s President and Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Moellering joined the company in 2006 and has served as the company’s EVP and COO since September 2011, and as Interim President and Interim Chief Executive Officer from January to June 2019. He previously held roles with L Brands and Procter & Gamble, and is on the board of directors of L.L.Bean, Inc.

“Our executive leadership team reflects a balance of seasoned Express executives and those with fresh outside perspective, and this balance will better position us for the future as we focus on the four pillars of our corporate strategy: product, brand, customer and execution,” said CEO Tim Baxter in a statement.
