Lowe’s Names Taco Bell Exec To Chief Brand And Marketing Role

Lowe’sMarisa Thalberg Lowes has named Marisa Thalberg as its new EVP, Chief Brand and Marketing Officer, effective Feb. 10. Thalberg, who will report to Lowe’s CEO Marvin Ellison, brings more than 25 years of marketing and branding experience to the position, most recently as Global Chief Brand Officer at Taco Bell.

Thalberg has been named one of Forbes’ Top 50 CMOs in the World and a National Retail Federation power player. She founded Executive Moms, an organization for working mothers. Prior to Taco Bell, Thalberg headed corporate digital and integrated marketing at Estée LauderCompanies, and held senior leadership roles at Unilever Cosmetics International, Sure Fit Inc. and Revlon.

“Marisa brings extensive experience in building culturally resonant brands and delivering business value through marketing innovation and fresh thinking to inspire and engage customers,” said Ellison in a statement. “We are confident Marisa will lead our brand into an exciting new chapter for our customers and associates.”
