Elastic Path has released its own Commerce Cloud for Amazon Web Services (AWS) to help retailers centralize infrastructure for their commerce platforms and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Built natively for AWS, Elastic Path Commerce Cloud speeds environment set-up and takes advantage of advanced AWS services, including: auto-scaling, load balancing, container services, networking and databases.

The API-based commerce platform is designed to offer brands the ability to:

  • Publish to any touch point;

  • Integrate with any legacy systems;

  • Use any content management system; and

  • Leverage any third-party app for commerce experiences.

The Commerce Cloud enables companies to write business logic once, and let the API project it to multiple touchpoints, in multiple languages, using multiple pricing strategies.

Either an Elastic Path partner or an internal enterprise IT team can manage the cloud platform. Elastic Path’s hosting partner, Rackspace, offers proactive monitoring and support for applications deployed within AWS cloud.

With the solution, DevOps teams can create consistent environments for development, testing and production to reduce the risk of failure and promote faster time-to-market.
