Gurney Food Hall opened in October 2020 in Gurney Plaza, a shopping mall and tourist destination in Penang, Malaysia. With interior design created by GARDE, the upscale food hall concept draws on the richness and diversity of the island’s history and food culture. The design of Gurney Food Hall aims to create a sophisticated space that conveys the culture, food and art of Penang island, with the space divided into four zones: “The Pier,” “The Port,” “The Palm” and “The Patio.”
