Carlton Architecture developed a design that weaves the landmarked theater’s interior with the entertainment imagery of a soccer stadium, to once again welcome troves of visitors to this experiential retail environment.

Through stage-craft, the theater’s processional entry hall is transformed into that of a stadium, leading shoppers to the main event, where the landmarked theater plays host to everything soccer.

Carlton, in conjunction with Pele Soccer, preserved the landmarked interiors by designing a completely flexible retail display system not affixed to the existing structure. The current design is sensitive to the historic fabric of its location.
