Think again: among male shoppers, an influencer recommendation inspires 83% to open their wallets, according to a survey of 3,500 consumers. Men also tend to buy recommended products that are at higher price points than women.
Brands using influencers need to ensure they are crystal clear about the terms of their sponsorship: 66% of U.S. consumers will trust a product recommendation as long as the influencer discloses their relationship with the brand.
