By helping customers find the right size through the MySizeID website widget, Levi’s was able to decrease return rates by 47% during the pilot. The retailer now plans to fully implement the MySize solution across its operations in Turkey.
Returns are increasingly becoming an area of focus for retailers, not only as a way to cut losses, but to also avoid undercutting their sustainability commitments.
The MySize solution uses Levi’s size charts, product tables, GTIN, descriptions and other relevant details — alongside MySize’s patented algorithms — to provide online shoppers with a more accurate size recommendation. The solution operates as a plug-and-play widget that can be easily incorporated into a brand’s website.
“We started this project as a pilot and now the numbers are declining,” said Ersin Arslan, Managing Director of Levi’s Turkey in a statement. “We’ve gotten to know our customers better, reduced the hassle, time and expense of merchandise returns, and we’ve achieved all of it while becoming more sustainable.”
