In the wake of COVID-19, store hours and services can be unpredictable, making it difficult for customers to keep up. Torrid is using the LiveMap feature from email solution provider Liveclicker to prevent confusion for customers on its email list, automatically providing up-to-date and personalized information on whether their local stores are closed, open, or open solely for curbside pickup.
Since implementing the map feature, email clicks on Torrid’s store maps have increased from under 5% to 14.8%.
When recipients open an email from the retailer, they can access an interactive map of nearby Torrid store locations based on their geographic location. The map is rendered with color-coded pins for each store, providing real-time details that can include up-to-date store hours, curbside or in-store pick-up availability, store phone numbers and traffic patterns.
Liveclicker worked with Torrid to pull in a complex set of data from each store location to provide personalized real-time information to consumers.
