Nexsan, a data discovery solution provider, has released Assureon 8.3 to help retailers and other companies protect and secure archived data and other digital assets. The Assureon Private Blockchain is designed to store data in an immutable structure, use cryptography to secure transactions and rely on an automated integrity audit at redundant sites to maintain data integrity and transparency.
The solution provider has adopted the high-performance and low-latency RoCE (RDMA over Converged Ethernet) to help eliminate performance-reducing layers of the network stack. The combination of Nexsan and RoCE is aimed at ensuring that latency is kept to a minimum and the platform complies with all regulations.
Retailers can use Assureon 8.3 to retrieve data with a 40G RDMA Converged Ethernet connection between the Assureon server and Assureon Edge servers, which can accelerate access to archived data storage in a secure manner.
