Wonder, the food hall concept from entrepreneur and Jet.com founder Marc Lore, has opened a new location in a Quakertown, Penn., Walmart. This is the 11th Wonder storefront in the U.S., and the first in Pennsylvania. It also is Wonder’s first official partnership with a brick-and-mortar retailer.

Wonder was initially developed as a “mealtime super app” that allows users to order from multiple delivery-first restaurants. Items are made to order at a Wonder storefront and delivered to customers in under 30 minutes, giving customers access to fresh dishes from some of the nation’s top restaurants as well as renowned chefs, such as Bobby Flay, Jese Andres and Marcus Samuelsson.

The new 1,390-square-foot space is designed to elevate this concept, giving Walmart visitors quick access to take-out and dine-in options from eight different restaurants, including: Limesalt, Yasas, Alanza Pizza, Tejas, Wing Trip, Burger Baby, Fred’s Meat & Bread and Room for Dessert. According to the landing page for the Quakertown location, more restaurants will be added to the food hall soon. Wonder also can deliver orders to households in zip codes surrounding the Quakertown, Penn. area.

In addition to Quakertown, Wonder has 10 other locations open around New York City and in New Jersey (Westfield, Hoboken, Springfield, Midland Park and Cresskill) with plans to expand to additional locations this year. Lore is focused on scaling and diversifying the Wonder business, which most recently received $100 million in funding from Nestle and acquired Blue Apron for $103 million. The Nestle investment will be used to help Wonder develop a business model in which it sells high-tech kitchen equipment and prepared ingredients to hotels, hospitals and sports arenas, according to CNBC.
