Birchbox Expands Executive Team With Two New Hires

Beauty and grooming retailer Birchbox has appointed Terre Layton as Global VP of Product Management and User Experience, and Fran Gaitanaros as VP of Creative, to help support the company’s end-to-end customer experience.

Layton has more than 20 years of experience in digital product management at Fortune 500 companies and startups such as Stella & Dot and AOL. A veteran of the beauty industry, she recently served as head of front-end product management at Sephora, where she led strategic digital innovation projects. Layton will be responsible for global product management, product strategy and roadmap, and user experience in her new role at Birchbox.

Gaitanaros joins Birchbox from One Kings Lane, where she held the role of Design Director. She previously co-founded and served as Creative Director for The Next Big Small Brand and The Rooster Design Group. In her new role, she will oversee all visual design elements, including monthly box designs, in-store signage, email and on-site design.
