Advantage Solutions, a provider of technology-enabled business solutions for retailers and CPG manufacturers, is merging with Daymon Worldwide, a strategy and solution provider for retailers and brands.
The combined company will create a global platform designed to deliver value for both manufacturers and retailers through a broad suite of complementary services.
As part of the agreement, the current equity investors in Daymon will become part owners of the holding company for Advantage and appoint members to its board of directors. Although full financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed, Advantage will acquire the stake in Daymon currently held by Chinese supermarket chain operator Yonghui Superstores.

Daymon will continue to operate as a separate legal entity headquartered in Stamford, Conn. The combination will operate in more than 45 countries including multiple joint ventures.
