Hans Holmer, a 27-year veteran of Walmart and its Sam’s Club division, has been named VP Operations at DRINKS Holdings, Inc., were he will oversee the supply chain and logistics network for the digital Wine as a Service platform.
Prior to joining Drinks, Holmer had served as Senior Director of Regional Transportation for Walmart Transportation and Senior Director of Fulfillment Operations for Walmart.com. Earlier, he held positions in wholesale club distribution with Sam’s Club and supply chain management at Walmart. A West Point graduate, Holmer spent seven years in the U.S. Army, rising to become a captain commanding a 196-person engineer company in Germany.
