Anyline Brings Mobile Scanning and Recognition Solutions to Retail

Data capture solution provider Anyline, which specializes in barcode and optical character recognition technology for mobile devices, has entered the U.S. retail market. The company aims to provide mobile data capture solutions that can be used for both self-shopping and efficient inventory management through the Anyline 27 smartphone barcode scanner, which offers greater scanning speed, precision and recognition capacity compared to older versions.

The solution provider’s data capture was made for integration into retailers’ applications or websites, enhancing the self-shopping experience and allowing customers to use their own mobile devices. The combined price tag and barcode inventory scanner also can empower associates for shelf stocking and other inventory purposes.

Anyline also has announced full support for U.S. driver’s license coverage. Anyline Universal ID scanner now recognizes any U.S. driver’s license for all states, as well as Mexican Identity Cards. This capability was created to let retailers scan licenses during curbside pickup or at point-of-purchase to verify age and identity for specific purchases.
