Logistics and transportation provider Ryder System will air “Stories from the Supply Chain,” a national TV ad campaign spotlighting successes with apparel brand Mugsy and alcoholic beverage distributor Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits. The campaign launches today and will air through June 22, 2025 on ESPN, TBS and TNT throughout the NHL Stanley Cup playoffs.
“With ‘Stories from the Supply Chain,’ we put our customers front and center, real businesses solving real challenges, and show how we help them stay ahead of demand, quickly respond to and capitalize on market trends and scale for growth — all of which lead to resiliency and, ultimately, greater customer satisfaction,” said Karen Jones, Chief Marketing Officer at Ryder in a statement.
Mugsy, which launched as a digitally native brand focused on comfortable men’s jeans, has since expanded into brick-and-mortar stores and diversified its menswear line. Using Ryder’s logistics services and its ecommerce tech platform RyderShip, Mugsy has tripled its order fulfillment capabilities and is delivering an average of one to two days faster.
“We were growing fast and we needed help,” said Mike McGee, Director of Operations at Muggsy in a statement. “Based on recommendations from other brands, we chose Ryder — first for ecommerce fulfilment and then, once we saw what they could do, omnichannel fulfillment for our store replenishment — and it’s been a perfect fit. Between Ryder’s people and their advanced technology and warehouse automation solution, we now have the most control over our operations that we’ve ever had.”

Enhancing Transportation Visibility for Southern Glazer’s
Southern Glazer’s had been using Ryder for leasing and maintenance services since the 1980s, and when the alcohol distributor began suffering delivery delays brought on by its limited abilities to track and monitor inbound goods, it expanded its use of Ryder’s solutions, deploying a transportation management solution and implementing RyderShare, a visibility and collaborative logistics solution. The tech has helped Southern Glazer’s achieve 100% freight visibility and 98% on-time deliveries.
“Ryder has delivered once again,” said Bobby Burg, Chief Supply Chain Officer at Southern Glazer’s in a statement. “Between their operational expertise and their top-shelf technology, the improvements we’ve seen in productivity and efficiency have strengthened our supply chain at every level.”
