Arroweye Powers “Dropoints” Cents-Off Gift Cards

Arroweye Solutions
, a digital producer of customizable plastic gift, incentive and payment cards, announced that it is powering the customization capabilities for Drop Tank, a new online incentives products company. Drop Tank specializes in cents-off-per-gallon gift cards, called Dropoints, which reduce prices in real time at the pump. Cards are distributed by merchants to reward their best customers and vendors; as redemption items in existing loyalty programs; and for employee incentives, promotions and charitable gifts.

The Arroweye digital Corporate Order Tool combines the web-based design technology and on-demand manufacturing and personalization capabilities that allow Dropoints to be fully customizable directly from the Drop Tank web site. Customers can use their own logos, artwork and copy, or choose from stock designs, then select denominations of 10 cents, 25 cents, 50 cents or $1 off per gallon, with a minimum of 10 cards per order. Dropoints cards are produced and delivered through Arroweye within 72 hours. A complete list of gas station and convenience store redemption sites is available on the Drop Tank web site.

“Until now, merchants had little hope of offering cents-off-per-gallon rewards to their consumers ― unless they were a large grocery chain making the technology investment and long-term commitment required by existing coalition loyalty programs,” said David VanWiggeren, President of Drop Tank, in an interview with Retail TouchPoints. “With Arroweye technology powering our site, it is now possible for any third-party in the Dropoints redemption footprint to create branded, customized cents-off-per-gallon cards for incentives, promotions and gifts.”
