Browns Shoes Launches Multi-Brand Web And Mobile Commerce Sites With Demandware

Browns Shoes, a Montreal-based retailer of fashion footwear, has launched new web and mobile commerce sites for its key banners: Browns, B2 and Browns OUTLET. With the new sites, the retailer is planning to extend the aesthetic value, unique consumer experience and unified brand experience across all digital commerce touch points. Browns Shoes currently operates 45 brick-and-mortar stores in Canada.

“Our goal is to reach our customers across different touch points, while considering the unique role that each of these plays in the customer’s buying cycle,” said Richard Sejean, Director of e-Commerce for Browns Shoes, in a press release. “Mobile, in particular, will be a key part of our strategy to create alignment between our online and physical stores.”

To power the new multi-brand, multichannel digital commerce strategy, family-owned Browns Shoes is replacing its legacy system with the Demandware Commerce platform. Leading the implementation effort for Browns Shoes is OSF Global Services, a Demandware solution partner. Browns Shoes also plans to leverage pre-built integrations between Demandware Commerce and key LINK partners, including Order Motion for order management. A pre-built strategy reduces the cost and complexity of integrating the technologies, as well as speeds deployment.
