CitiXsys, a provider of in-store and mobile POS solutions, has released the latest updates to its iVend eCommerce and iVend Retail platforms.
iVend eCommerce 1.6 includes new features and enhancements including:

A mobile responsive skin/user interface;

Image hotspots: image tags that link users to product details or to their shopping carts;

Coupon code offers on the home page: automatically displaying discounted prices for coupon-applicable items;

Exit offers: allowing retailers to make offers to online visitors who leave without making a purchase;

A loyalty catalog: enabling retailers to integrate loyalty with their e-Commerce sites and mark products online as loyalty-redeemable;

Product preordering: enabling retailers to set up pages for soon-to-be available items, take orders, and specify product launch date, price and limit quantity;

Bonus buys: enabling retailers to integrate eCommerce with promotions;

One page checkout; and
-
Multistore: enabling retailers to create separate URLs for different products or categories.

iVend 6.5 Update 2 includes added features such as:

POS Interface Designer: allowing retailers to create terminal and mobile POS interface layouts based on business needs and branding preferences;

Receipt Designer: allowing users to create and modify receipt layouts using a graphical user interface, negating the need to edit the XML file for receipt layouts;

Offline TPOS for iVend Cloud: enabling retailers toconfigure and connect the terminal POS to a hosted/cloud store;

iVend Cloud Control Center: a tenant management tool for partners that host iVend in a data center;

Enhancements to the Product Dashboard, which include multiple new widgets such as total sales; stock cover; sale and refund; online versus store; available stock and value; ordered and fulfilled quantity; product category and contribution; and profit margin and percentage; and

Enhancements to the Customer Dashboard, which include widgets such as total sales; loyalty level and loyalty points; customer balances; last 10 transactions; sale and refund; net sale by product group; online versus store sale; average sale amount; and last visited store.
