Dick’s Sporting Goods Integrates Traceability into Sourcing Operations

Dick’s Sporting Goods will expand its use of sourcing solutions from Inspectorio, incorporating traceability as it centralizes its production chain activities under the solution provider’s AI platform.

After utilizing Inspectorio’s Responsible Sourcing and Inspection solutions for more than three years, Dick’s will add the company’s Traceability and TransparencyProduction Monitoring, and Lab Testing modules into its supply chain operations.

Dick’s will leverage the Inspectorio platform to bring greater efficiency and accuracy to its operations by:

  • Uniting traceability with key sourcing functions;
  • Automating manual processes with AI-driven insights;
  • Strengthening production monitoring and visibility into performance and production changes, helping to increase the brand’s supply chain resilience, connectivity and predictability;
  • Enhancing lab testing under one system, making it easier to identify which raw materials are being used across multiple purchase orders in order to test the materials at one source, eliminating redundant lab testing further down the supply chain; and
  • Streamlining audit management, eliminating manual processes and paperwork associated with ESG (environmental, social and governance) audit management and gaining valuable insights into audit details.
