Epicor Software Corporation recently announced the appointment of Craig McCollum as Executive Vice President and General Manager for the company’s retail distribution solutions business. In his role, McCollum will focus on boosting revenue growth and market opportunities for the division, which serves small to midsize retailers across a variety of industries. This Epicor division includes a number of solutions: Epicor Eagle, Epicor Catalyst, Epicor Vision, and Vista Information Services. Prior to joining Epicor, McCollum served as president of True North Strategists, and also held senior executive sales and operations roles with Microsoft from 2004 to 2008.
Commenting on the appointment, Pervez Qureshi, Epicor’s President and CEO, said: “As we increase our focus on the retail segments, accelerating strategies around new product releases, penetrating new markets and expanding geographically, Craig’s broad experience in transforming organizations to take advantage of new market opportunities, identifying and building new channels of distribution and driving revenue growth will be instrumental for Epicor.”
