Hwy 55 Burgers, Shakes & Fries Launches Loyalty And Gift Card Program From FiveStars

Hwy 55 Burgers, Shakes & Fries, a N.C.-based quick-service restaurant (QSR) chain, has partnered with FiveStars, a provider of loyalty automation platforms for small and medium businesses (SMBs), to encourage customer loyalty.

Hwy 55 launched FiveStars gift cards in December 2012 then rolled out an integrated loyalty and gift card program across its 100 stores in February 2013. Since the program launches, Hwy 55 has generated more than $50,000 in gift card revenue from more than 30,000 customers.

The FiveStars cards store-up pre-loaded values while engaging customers with loyalty components, encouraging gift card recipients to become repeat customers even after the balance is spent, according to a company press release. By adding the FiveStars loyalty automation platform to gift cards programs, SMBs can better acquire, grow and retain their customers.

“We knew we wanted a sophisticated but affordable loyalty program across all of our locations, but we wanted a solution that could also function as a gift card,” said Neal Dennis, COO of Hwy 55 Burgers, Shakes & Fries.  “Our gift cards…have already generated significant revenue, and now with our all-in-one loyalty and [this] program, it’s easy to turn these customers into repeat visitors.”
