JD Expands Nike Loyalty Program to U.S.

JD, formerly known as JD Sports, has extended its partnership with the Nike Connected Membership program to the U.S., making JD the first global partner for the rewards program following its launch in Europe.

JD’s U.S. customers will gain access to select member-only footwear and apparel when they link their JD STATUS and Nike Membership accounts through JD’s mobile app or website. Linking the programs will unlock an instant reward, curated collections and early access to Nike products as well as exclusive experiences and services.

“Becoming Nike’s first global Connected Member partner strengthens our longstanding strategic relationship with the brand,” said Régis Schultz, CEO of JD Sports in a statement. “We want our customers to shop with JD knowing they are accessing the very best of what our partner brands have to offer, giving them the confidence that they are at the forefront of the trends shaping sports fashion.”

UK-based JD introduced the integrated Nike Connected Membership program in the UK in September 2022. The retailer strengthened its U.S. presence with its April 2024 acquisition of Hibbett; Nike and Hibbett also had linked their loyalty programs in a “connected partnership” in October 2023.
