Seeking to increase transparency and efficiency across its business operations, Lands’ End has adopted a PLM solution by Centric Software that includes 3D Enablement and Visual Planning Board features. As Lands’ End grows its business, the adoption of the PLM solution technology will help teams work together in a seamless manner that promotes a more sustainable business model.

Complemented by connecting 3D across system platforms, the solution will strengthen the retailer’s business by:

  • Affording greater efficiency in product development;
  • Streamlining communication and workflow;
  • Cultivating workflow productivity;
  • Improving decision making;
  • Reducing physical samples and waste; and
  • Accelerating speed-to-market.

Lands’ End sought a PLM solution that would easily integrate connecting systems, provide automated and consistent data flows and standardize cross-team processes. By unifying its systems and becoming more efficient, Lands’ End will be better positioned for growth in spite of any future disruptions in the market.

“Centric was the clear choice for all selection process participants, from both a process and a functional coverage aspect,” said Chieh Tsai, Chief Product Officer at Lands’ End in a statement. “We were also convinced by their innovations in the area of 3D enablement and the Visual Planning Board, which go well beyond traditional PLM solutions.”
