Nicole Miller Taps PLM From NGC To Speed Time To Market

, a contemporary fashion designer and retailer, has adopted the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Global Sourcing/Supply Chain Management (SCM) software from NGC Software to help streamline design and production processes. 

Initially, Nicole Miller sought a new solution to help reduce product turn-around time, while maintaining high brand standards and ensuring close collaboration between the design team and global supply chain.

The NGC Software solution enables Nicole Miller to integrate the fashion PLM and SCM into a single, collaborative platform. Now, the brand and retailer can improve lead times, minimize costs, maximize profits and respond quickly to consumer preferences.

“We talked to a number of leading PLM providers, but NGC appeared as the best choice, based on their extensive knowledge of the fashion industry and the strength of NGC’s combined PLM/SCM solution,” said Estelle Rose, CFO of Nicole Miller. “NGC provided expert advice at every step of the implementation process, and we’re already seeing positive results with the software.”

A selection of current NGC customers include: A|X Armani Exchange, Aeropostale, Billabong, Carter’s, Casual Male, Hugo Boss, Jos. A. Bank, Marchon Eyewear, Spanx, Swatfame and VF Corporation.
