Prism Skylabs Upgrades Analytics Platform

Screen Shot 2015-01-13 at 2.33.27 PMDuring NRF 2015, Prism Skylabs, a cloud-based video intelligence and imagery provider, announced upgrades to its retail analytics platform, which is designed to help retailers understand and optimize their physical stores. 

Prism’s analytics allow retailers to run on-demand studies of the customer journey and A/B test their stores in real time. The upgrades included in this new release include dynamic path maps that offer visual summaries of customer movement, and surface new metrics around customer flow rate, group size, occupancy and dwell time.

Prism designed the new dashboards to help drive awareness and provide insight throughout the organization. The dashboards provide at-a-glance overviews of key data points that facilitate action for regional and store managers seeking to improve operations. Customizable reporting tools and templates provide an enterprise-wide understanding of store performance, customer trends and the effectiveness of merchandising and marketing campaigns.

This release also includes Prism Pulse, a deep learning technology that enables quick setup and calibration of analytics, and provides for continuous tuning post campaign deployment.

“With Pulse, we can calibrate our analytics across thousands of stores with the push of a button,” said Prism CEO and Founder Steve Russell. “Traditionally, analytics have been thought of as difficult to install and require a great deal of customization. Pulse allows for this process to be almost completely automated.”
