Rivet Works, a solution provider that helps retailers collect and utilize consumer-generated content, has partnered with BigCommerce. Rivet Works integration is now available through the BigCommerce App Marketplace.
The platform eases the process of adding shoppers’ videos, photos, narrative stories and commentaries to e-Commerce sites and retail social media accounts. Rivet Works automatically collects the content directly from past shoppers, then uses machine learning to organize the information into the appropriate product categories.
According to Rivet Works, its clients gain 155% greater social reach and 104% more reactions, shares, and comments for Rivet Works-powered Facebook posts compared to a retailer’s typical post. Additionally, direct-to-consumer businesses report conversion gains of up to 200% for pages containing Rivet Works-powered content.
“Our business growth depends on quality and community, not cheapness of product,” said Matts Jopson, VP at succulent retailer Mountain Crest Gardens in a statement. “Having customer photos and videos tied to relevant narratives has helped us harness the passion and experience of our community to generate sales, drive effortless organic marketing and ultimately buffer ourselves from the impact of a larger retailer entering our space.”
