Storefront Expands Pop-Up Marketplace Service To London

Storefront, a marketplace for brands to find and rent short-term pop-up shops (also known as “the Airbnb of Pop-Up Space”), has announced that it will be launching its marketplace in London.

Storefront specializes in matching more than 80,000 brands — including fashion labels, retailers, e-Commerce players and startups — with commercial spaces. The company already operates in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Hong Kong, Amsterdam and Paris, powering more than 10,000 listings representing more than 2.5 million square meters of retail space. Companies such as Samsung, Etsy and L’Oréal have worked with Storefront to open temporary retail locations.

“The ability to use a single service to find premium retail spaces for pop-up stores in cities around the world is something many brands have requested,” said Mohamed Haouache, CEO and Co-Founder of Storefront in a statement. “The London expansion opens doors for international brands in one of the most fashionable cities, and will further democratize the concept of the pop-up store.”
