Super Shoes Integrates POS Terminals, E-Commerce Web Site With CORESense Multichannel Retail Solution

Super Shoes, a multi-store footwear retailer, recently implemented the CORESense multichannel retail solution to manage retail operations throughout its New England and Mid-Atlantic headquarters and store locations. The solution enables Super Shoes to integrate POS terminals, in-store kiosks and its e-Commerce web site with one centralized database and retail management software platform. The integration allows Super Shoes to have real-time visibility and control over its entire operation, reducing response time to changes in supply and demand. “We required a real-time, multichannel retail management solution to continue our success in a changing retail market place,” said Terry Tierney, President of Super Shoes, in a press release. “CORESense … provides us with the functionality and integration to expand our company and does so in a delivery model that ties its success to ours.” According to CORESense CEO Chris Martin, Super Shoes needed to replace an outdated IT platform with one that could meet the expectations of today’s demanding retail consumers. “With CORESense, Super Shoes has the right solution to deliver a seamless and satisfying shopping experience across all its sales channels,” he said. Additional benefits of the implementation include the ability to capture and access detailed customer information ― including contact information and purchase, return and communication history from in-store POS terminals ― to support better business decision making.
