Texas Humor Improves Mobile App CX From Lone Star To 5 Stars

Clothing company Texas Humor, a small business that operates an e-Commerce shop selling Texas pride apparel, has selected the Shopgate mobile commerce platform solution to enhance its customer mobile shopping application. The platform allows the retailer to connect with shoppers in a variety of new ways, including via mobile content.

Texas Humor’s new mobile offering now features:

  • Easy-to-navigate native-app design tools that allow the retailer to create a customized mobile app that integrates with its e-Commerce platform;
  • Abandoned cart capabilities, sending reminders to customers via the app about what they’ve left in their shopping carts. The function also provides customers with the ability to save this information for future purchases.
  • Push notifications to Texas Humor alerting the retailer to send content to the app as they would via its social media channels. The push notifications capabilities also allow the retailer to release new products exclusively on the app before they go live on its web site, giving app users an exclusive look.

“We have high engagement rates with our customers and our statistics showed most people were buying our products off of mobile devices,” said Jay B. Sauceda, Founder of Texas Humor in a statement. “We wanted to provide a mobile app that served as an entirely different experience from our web site. With Shopgate, we have been able to continue utilizing our well-known ‘humor’ by marketing our products through targeted push notifications, resulting in even greater customer engagement. As a small company, we didn’t have the means to develop a custom mobile app ourselves. Shopgate has allowed us to generate user-friendly content and target our customers in a way we know they like to shop: on their phones.”
