Toys “R” Us Personalizes Black Friday Videos Using Eyeview


Toys “R” Us is tapping a new application from video advertising solution provider Eyeview to help drive traffic to stores on Black Friday. 

Named the “Black Friday Booster,” the new solution from Eyeview was designed to help retailers such as Toys R Us provide personalized updates on Black Friday deals and price reductions based on product preferences. The ads also feature a countdown clock that shows how much time is left until the annual shopping event.

Video ads are personalized based on customer demographic, geographical location, proximity to brick-and-mortar stores and buying patterns. Using this data helps retailers deliver relevant ads to each customer.

“Consumers are so inundated with Black Friday advertisements and deals, it’s impossible for retailers to cut through the noise and reach their customers with deals and products that are specifically relevant to them, especially on a local level,” said Oren Harnevo, Founder and CEO of Eyeview. “The Black Friday Booster solution allows retailers with multiple stores to advertise deals via personalized video on a hyper-local level, customized based on individual customer preference.”
