Xcel Brands, a company that manages the acquisition, design, licensing and marketing of consumer brands, has announced the opening of the Isaac Mizrahi New York store in Woodstock, Ga, which is part of the Atlanta metropolitan area.
The 2,000 square-foot store — scheduled to open in early March 2014 — will sell fragrances, handbags, eyewear, apparel and timepieces. Xcel Brands acquired Isaac Mizrahi in 2011, and has since helped the brand expand across 100+ categories. Isaac Mizrahi New York products also are sold through retail outlets including Bloomingdales and Nordstrom.
“We are very excited to open our second Isaac Mizrahi New York store in Atlanta,” said Robert D’Loren, Chairman and CEO, Xcel Brands, Inc. “It’s important to offer our consumers the complete Isaac Mizrahi New York experience in the theatre of our own stores. We plan to launch our e-Commerce site and open additional stores in 2014.”
The new store opening comes following the debut of the Isaac Mizrahi New York shop in Southampton. Xcel worked with commercial real estate firm Newmark Grubb Knight Frank to execute the property lease for the location, which opened on June 7, 2013.
