Bloglovin’, an influencer marketing platform, is rebranding itself as Activate. The company’s new name is influenced by the phrase “activating influencers.” The company has also appointed Kamiu Lee, former VP of Business Development & Finance at Bloglovin’, as CEO.

With the rebranding, the company also launched Activate Studio, a team of strategists working to bridge the gap between influencers and brands through strategy and technology. Leveraging its Activate technology platform, the team will collaborate with brands to deliver engaging content, strong consumer engagement and measurable results.

Additionally, the platform introduced its Activate Self-Service Platform, designed to help brands and agencies identify, manage and report on scaled influencer programs. Through the self-service portal, users will have direct access to the Activate Studio team on an as-needed basis.

“I believe that influencers are the future of media with real, measurable impact on how today’s consumers engage with brands,” said Lee in a statement. “As traditional marketing channels continue to fragment and lose consumer attention, the relationship between influencers and their audiences continues to grow across social platforms and content formats.”
