Cargo, which places boxes with items for sale in ridesharing vehicles, has hired Kate Pearson as COO. She will oversee operations and optimize efficiency as the company expands to Brazil through its partnership with Uber.
Pearson was previously Head of Customer Experience and Operations at Tesla, where she built the North America Delivery team and spearheaded the launch and optimization of the company’s home delivery program. She also has served as VP of Strategy, Operations and Digital Acceleration at Walmart, where she built out the retail giant’s digital and last-mile delivery strategies.
