Qtrac Media Manager Centralizes Control Of In-Store Digital Messaging

As retailing continues to evolve into an omnichannel environment digital messaging featured  in stores must be consistent with other channels.

To help centralize control of in-store digital messaging, Lavi Industrires has introduced the Qtrac Media Manager. Merchants with one monitor or numerous displays across multiple regions can coordinate and make real-time changes to in-store digital messaging, as easily as managing an iTunes account, according to Lavi.

“If you can operate iTunes or similar consumer media programs,” said Perry Kuklin, Director of Marketing for Lavi Industries, “you can quickly and easily manage the in-store signage for an entire retail system.”

The Qtrac Media Manager features a dashboard that lists all of a retailer’s available in-store display screens. These screens can be organized as single screens or groups of any size. Media content, presented in a playlist format, can be dragged and dropped, and programmed to change according to user-defined schedules. This centralized control enables merchants to deploy up-to-date messaging nationally, across regions, or at the individual store level.

“In-store electronic signage and in-queue digital messaging is proven to be far more effective when it is controlled in a strategic, unified manner,” stated Kuklin. “Our studies show that consumer response to strategic in-store media management includes reductions in perceived wait times as much as 40%, which directly impacts customer retention, as well as similarly dramatic increases in impulse purchases.”
