AR Product Previews Can Turn 21% Of Browsers Into Buyers

Augmented reality (AR) is beginning to demonstrate its value in the retail environment: 21% of consumers are more apt to buy when they can get an AR preview of the product. For 42% of consumers, AR, virtual reality (VR), mobile coupons and in-store robots always enhance their customer experience, according to a 2018 consumer survey.

BOPIS services have achieved widespread acceptance: 69% of consumers have used click-and-collect, with 33% saying it’s more convenient than home delivery and 42% using it to avoid delivery charges.
