U.S. Consumers Spend More Money on TikTok than any Other Social Platform

Research from CouponFollow finds that TikTok is winning when it comes to shopper trust.

For several years, social media sites have been battling to become the ultimate platform for social commerce. While the jury’s still out, new research shows that TikTok is dominating when it comes to shopper trust. The study of 1,000 social media shoppers found that:

  • 88% of those surveyed said they feel more connected to brands they discover on TikTok
  • Across all respondents, users said they spend more money on TikTok annually than any other social media platform, with Gen Z spending the most ($158 a year); and
  • 95% said their last #TikTokMadeMeBuyIt purchase was worth the hype.
