FabFitFun has named Louisa Wee to the newly created role of Chief Marketing Officer. In this position, she will oversee the strategy and execution of the retailer’s global marketing initiatives, as well as brand, content and creative programming.

Wee most recently served as VP of Marketing Strategy & Analysis and Programmatic Media Buying at Netflix. She also has worked at Pluto.TV, Spin Media, Inc. and eHarmony.com, and she started her career with over a decade of client advisory at McKinsey & Company, Goldman Sachs, Deloitte and PwC.

“Louisa brings over two decades of marketing and management expertise to FabFitFun, including work with some of the world’s most well-known and respected brands,” said Michael Broukhim, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of FabFitFun in a statement. “Her unique background crosses business intelligence, marketing strategy and customer acquisition, and brings new depth to our marketing bench. We look forward to continuing to innovate in 2020 with her at the helm.”

FabFitFun is known for its unique approach to marketing: the company taps its media roots to reach new audiences through daily lifestyle content, the FabFitFunTV streaming video service and Facebook videos. The retailer combines fun outreach with a strong customer service program to both grow and maintain its loyal subscriber base.
