Widen Collective, a platform designed to help brands streamline their workflow by enriching product data with marketing copy and digital assets, has introduced updates to help retailers scale their content operations. The platform can give retailers more control over their content to better manage its use.
Some of the new capabilities include:
- Product variants: These tools can automate the process of adding descriptions, feature lists or digital assets to individual SKUs by adding attribute assets and values to a parent product and having them cascade down to all variants;
- Product hierarchy: Adds product categories to help organize products, which can streamline navigation and help users quickly find and update products within a given category;
- Manage 360° spin photography: Zip files of images can be uploaded to Widen Collective, where retailers can view and rotate the images and take further action, such as tracking how the imagery is being used; and
- Product history: Should problems arise, retailers can use Entries to access a record of content updates to identify what went wrong and address it.
