BigCommerce has integrated its e-Commerce platform with the Happy Returns suite of returns software and reverse logistics infrastructure. Through Happy Returns’ Online Return and Exchange Service (ORES), BigCommerce merchants can offer their customers the ability to initiate returns online and choose either a refund or a site credit. Retailers also can provide their customers with access to Happy Returns’ nationwide network of more than 700 Return Bars for in-person drop off.
Dana Rebecca Designs is the first BigCommerce merchant to launch with Happy Returns.
“People often treat the returns process as an afterthought,” said Russell Klein, Chief Commercial Officer for BigCommerce in a statement, adding that the returns process is an important component of the customer’s overall experience with a brand.
Almost half (48%) of shoppers return at least one online purchase each year, but 95% of shoppers who are happy with the returns process will purchase with the same retailer again, according to ShipBob.
Happy Returns is also the returns management provider for Magento, Shopify and Solidus. Like BigCommerce, the Shopify platform is fully integrated with Happy Returns.
For a limited time, Happy Returns is offering BigCommerce merchants a two-month “no commitment” trial of its service.
