The Vitamin Shoppe has partnered with Instacart to offer same-day delivery across the U.S. Delivery times for orders picked from the 720 The Vitamin Shoppe and Super Supplements stores could be as short as one hour.
“Our mission is to provide the highest-quality health and wellness products to our customers, while enabling them to shop how and where they prefer — whether that’s in-store, curbside, online, on our mobile app, on the phone with customer support, or through a one-on-one virtual nutritionist appointment,” said Sharon Leite, CEO of The Vitamin Shoppe in a statement. “We’re excited to add Instacart to that array of options.”
As COVID-19 has boosted demand for last-mile services, platforms like Instacart have been expanding their relationships with retailers. Earlier this month, Walmart announced that it would supplement its own fleet of 74,000 personal shoppers with an Instacart home delivery pilot in four markets. DoorDash has secured delivery deals with several regional supermarket chains as well as 7-Eleven, CVS Pharmacy and Walgreens.
This marks the first time that The Vitamin Shoppe will make its products available for same-day delivery. Customers using Instacart will have access to thousands of items, including vitamins, supplements, herbs, immune support products, sports nutrition, CBD hemp extract (in select states), superfoods, natural beauty and skincare, and healthy snacks and beverages.
