Klarna, a buy now/pay later payments provider, has introduced the Vibe loyalty program. The no-fee offering will roll out in the U.S. in June, before being extended to Germany, Australia, Sweden and the UK within the next year.
The Vibe program applies to all purchases that members make directly through the Klarna app, as well as when they use Klarna for payment at more than 200,000 partner retail stores globally. Members earn one “Vibe” (point) for every $1 they spend, and Vibes can be redeemed for rewards such as gift cards from businesses including Starbucks, Sephora, Foot Locker and Uber. Additionally, members will gain access to exclusive online and offline sales and shopping experiences, and can earn extra rewards if they are already part of an existing loyalty program through the retailer they are buying from.
To reward responsible purchasing habits, Vibe members will only be credited with their points once their payments are completed and paid on time.
