David’s Bridal is in the business of “dream-making,” according to new CEO Kelly Cook, and in this video she explains why leading the retailer represents a dream come true for her. She shares her vision for the company, including its asset-light Aisles to Algorithms growth strategy and the recent launch of its Pearl Media Network.
Cook has big ambitions for David’s Bridal: “Instead of us being dominant in a $4 billion wedding dress industry, now we want to become dominant in a $64 billion wedding industry market,” she says. Whatever shape its growth will take, Cook stresses how important it is for the David’s Bridal customer experience to match up with its brand story: “The experience of the brand and the story that you’re telling about the brand are one and the same nowadays.”
