RSR Uncovers Omnichannel Retail Trends, Role Of Marketing

Retailers are building an omni-channel customer experience to remain relevant among consumers’ ever-changing buying habits. In fact, a majority (92%) of retailers report that they operate e-Commerce channels compared to traditional stores (89%), according to a recent RSR study.

The study, titled Omnichannel 2012: Cross-Channel Comes Of Age, indicates that all surveyed respondents consider “a single brand identity across channels” an important factor.

RSR’s Nikki Baird will share insights from the survey during an upcoming Retail TouchPoints webinar, titled “Conquering The Omnichannel Arena.” The presentation, sponsored by NCR Corporation, will share pressing retail trends such as the value of cross-channel shoppers, the digital-physical connection and the role of marketing in the strategy mix. In addition, NCR’s Reagan Taylor will join the discussion; Taylor will outline the steps to cross-channel success, illuminated through real-world case studies.
